This lighted wreath which I bought in the sale at @coxandcox has been the best addition to my Christmas decs this year. When it arrived it was HUGE - I’d forgotten to take the measurements - but miraculously fitted perfectly over my bedroom mirror where it sheds a magical light over the room. A very happy - and hopefully relaxing - Christmas to you all with plenty of good books and bottles and all the Christmas films you’ve seen zillions of times before xxIs there anything better than catching up with a friend you’ve known for 30 years and haven’t seen for five and just picking up where you left off? All that was missing was the sofa @gabyallen … Great backdrop too @horsedartmoor . . . #friends #friendship #neverspoons #moretonhampsteadMaybe the best front-of-the-telly snack idea I’ve come across this Christmas: French fries with caviar and crème fraiche dip @bebebob. Which of course makes it spendy for a snack but you could pull the same trick with lumpfish roe. The schnitzel would be a bit more of a hassle to make at home but it was very very good. Add a glass (or two) of champagne and the top notch company of @thaneeprince and you have the perfect Christmas lunch. Also an utterly dreamy plate of ricotta and cavolo nero agnolotti with pumpkin and sage butter under a billowy cloud of parmesan. (The pasta is always worth ordering but enough for two if you have other dishes so I’d share.)
